Beginner Taekwondo (ages 6 to adult)

It is never too late or too early to learn martial arts! Our Beginner Taekwondo program is designed for students 6 and up, to learn a very special martial art in a fun and safe environment. Beginner students will learn the basic blocks, kicks, and strikes of Taekwondo and enjoy learning the culture of this beautiful and effective martial art. They will learn discipline, confidence, self-control, and perseverance in a way that will be fun and educational! Students will earn 3 stripes on their current belt, for attendance, self-defense/forms, and sparring/grappling. Once all 3 have been earned, students will be eligible to test for their next rank. It is through hard work, dedication, and commitment, they will learn to be better leaders, students, citizens, and human beings!! We live in a generation that demands our children and us to defend our belief and values. Our program nurtures the core values of martial arts for the mind, and develops strength and flexibility for the body. Advanced Taekwondo
(Senior Blue to Black)
PMACʼs Advanced Taekwondo Program is comprised of classes that will prepare the student for attaining his/her Black Belt. Students will learn advanced concepts of taekwondo, boxing, muay thai kickboxing, grappling, judo, basic jiu jitsu, and take-downs/joint manipulations. Along with Beginner Taekwondo (ages 6 to adult) these techniques, students in the advanced program will train in weaponry, such as nunchuks, eskrima sticks, and bo staff.
